The community was saddened at the death within the last 10 days of Mr. Landem Luttrell, Mr. Raymond Groves and Mrs. Elvie Carter.

Peter Huyghebaert, from Belgium, is spending two weeks with Mr. and Mrs. Emiel Smet at Windmeer Farm. He is the son of a very dear friend of Mr. Smet. They are delighted to have him visit.

Mrs. Anna Fincham and Mrs. Elva Compton recently traveled to Luray to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Maywood Cornwell. While there they also visited with Mrs. Cornwell’s sisters, Miss Beulah Bolen and Mrs. Mary Burner.

Mrs. Fincham and Mrs. Compton also enjoyed a visit last Thursday by Mrs. Helen Atkins.

Carrington Smith was scheduled to come home on Wednesday from Fairfax Hospital following minor surgery.

LouElla Smith’s sister, Sylvia Taylor, gave birth on Saturday to a healthy boy, their fifth son. Mother and baby are doing fine.
