Computer course offered
Rappahannock High School is offering Applications of Microcomputing, which will cover word processing, date base management and spread sheets, through its adult education program.
The class will meet in Room 10 of the school from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Monday nights from March 25-May 20 (except April 1).
The course will use McIntosh or IBM compatible machines.

Tuition is $39 and due the first night of the course. Helen LaCava will be the instructor.
Food giveaway planned
The Rappahannock Department of Social Services will be giving away food commodities, 9 a.m.-noon March 28 in the basement of Social Services on Gay Street in Washington.
All eligible recipients are encouraged to participate. Call 675-3313.
School holiday added
Students and employees in the Rappahannock Public Schools have been given an extra holiday because only four of the five scheduled snow days have been used.
The School Board has designated April 2 as a holiday as long as now additional school closings are used before Spring Break.
If the schools are closed between now and the spring holiday, April 2 will be a work day. If schools are closed after April 2, any days missed must be made up.
