The Culpeper Minute Men Chapter, NSDAR, honored four area 12th graders from Culpeper, Madison and Rappahannock counties at a tea Sunday afternoon, March 10 at the Culpeper Methodist Church in Culpeper. These four received from Mj-s. William Wetsel, Chapter Good Citizen Committee Chairman, the 1990-1991 DAR Good Citizen Award which is a yearly nationally sponsored contest conducted by the DAR and consists of cash scholarships to the college of each student’s choice, a certificate of merit and a Good Citizen pin.
In addition, Mrs. Janet Reed, District VI Good Citizen Chairman, personally presented to each student a bond in loving memory of Virginia Rucker Crigler, past Regent, who passed away last November.
