The parents of Marine Cpl Richie Dodson, Ronald and Anti Dodson of Viewtown, said the 1987 RCHS graduate saw action on the ground in Kuwait.
“He was in the ground war at the airport and at the oil fields around Kuwait City,” said Mrs. Dodson. He called last week and told his parents he hopes to be back in the States this weekend.
Cpl. Dodson lives in Culpeper, and was called up with a reserve unit from Richmond. “They were the only reserve unit that saw any action,” said Mrs. Dodson.
