In the Latin I Advanced competition, team members were Corey Noll from Rappahannock, Jennifer Blount of Front Royal, and Suzanne Carrier and Joshua Payne of Culpeper.
In the Latin II competition, Christa Franklin from Jefferson County, Daniel Logie of Front Royal, Jeremy Thorpe of Culpeper, and Katie Quinn of Winchester earned a First Place medal for their team.
The Upper Level competitors were Tim Inglis and Stephanie Torneden of Rappahannock and Matt Durbin and Meredith Fascett of F auquier County.
The Certamen Teams also competed in the tournament at Flint Hill School in Oakton where the Latin I Experienced team earned a Second Place award and the Latin I Beginners and Latin II teams earned a Fifth and Fourth place awards.
Wakefield School students also participated in the Harvard Model Congress that was held in Boston, Mass.
