The Brothers currently have seven albums to their credit.
The Voices of Inspiration gospel choir has been based at the Macedonia Baptist Church for many years.
The nine-member choir consists of all brothers and sisters, so it is truly a family group.
Accompanying themselves with tamborines and with Carl Brooks on piano, The Voices of Inspiration live up to their name.
Other group members are Gloria Myers of Flint Hill, Mary Frye of Huntly, Kesley Russell of Huntly, Helea Russell of Huntly, Lillian Taylor of Front Royal, Dorothy Brooks of Front Royal, Deborah Burrows of Front Royal, Darlene Green of Hume, Brenda French of Marshall and Gloria Jackson of Dale City.
“We stay pretty busy travelling around playing for different churches,” said Mrs. Myers. “We just hate to turn people down.”
Tickets for this special event are $5.50 for adults and $3 for children under age 12.
