Education. Jon Heddleston said he tries to fit these topics into the regular curriculum. Recently he had a class doing a program like an interview show on date rape. “We talked about what’s happening on college campuses. We also talked about attitudes toward rape victims,” he said.
Mr. Heddleston said he was teaching the same approach that is taught to younger children in dealing with “inappropriate touches. Say no, move away, and tell someone. We also talk about how to avoid getting into such a situation in the first place,” he said. “Obviously only a small part of the curriculum ha|| to do with such sensitive subject matter.” '
