Lessie Fincham
Lessie Virginia Fincham, 95, of Sperryville, died Saturday, March 16 at Annaburg Manor Nursing Home in Manassas.
She is survived by two sons, James J. Fincham of Norfolk and Russell M. Fincham of Manassas; one daughter, Lucy V. Gaskins of Portsmouth; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at the Hopewell Baptist Church in Sperryville on Wednesday, March 20, with the Rev. U.S. Brokenburr of Washington, D.C. officiating. Interment was in the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Woodville.
W.C. Thompson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Mary Wilson
Mary K. Wilson, 77, of Front Royal, died Wednesday, March 13 at the Fairfax Hospital.
The funeral was conducted Saturday, March 16 at the Green Funeral Home in Herndon by the Rev. James Aylor. Burial was in Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Herndon.
Mrs. Wilson was born March 25, 1913 in Fairfax County, the daughter of the late Frederick and Julia Korzendorfer. She was the wife of the late Herman Wilson.
Surviving are four daughters, Helen Gerds of Miami, Fla., Doris Jenkins of Sterling, Nancy St. Clair of Clearwater, Fla. and Virginia Sacchina of Amissville; one son, Ralph Wilson of Front Royal; one brother, Roy Korzendorfer of Harrisonburg; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one greatgreat-granddaughter.
Walter Bunch Jr.
Walter Catlett Bunch Jr., 66, of Front Royal, died Wednesday, March 13 in Ormond Beach Memorial Hospital in Florida.
The funeral was conducted Saturday, March 16 at the Marlow Heights Baptist Church in Front Royal by the Rev. Harvey Skinner. Burial was in Panorama Memorial Gardens at Waterlick.

Families are falling victim to financial anxiety as economists speak ever more loudly words of recession in the ’90s. More than a few families will be forced to seek help in dealing with the additional pressure.
At Family Focus, a counseling service with an office in the Rappahannock Medical Center on Gay Street in Washington, the added financial pressure for families during a recession is being taken very seriously.
John Borgens, the director, said he is seeing a definite increase in financial stress-related family problems.
And, according to Mr. Borgens, who is a licensed clinical social worker, effects of a recession aren’t just felt by individuals, but by the entire family.
“A couple will come in for marital counseling and it can often be related to family finances. It causes them to argue and snap at the kids,” he said.
Mr. Borgens has expanded the £taff at Family Focus by hiring a new financial counselor, Timothy O’Roark of Midland. The addition, according to Mr. Borgens, is in direct response to the money anxiety among today’s families.
