With last Thursday’s surprise snowfall, I hope you noticed the picturesque snow-capped Blue Ridge mountains Friday morning glistening in the morning sun.

Many activities are planned for the festival. A special “Salute to the Troops” ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. featuring elected representatives, Culpeper ROTC Drill Team and Color Guard and singing of the National Anthem.
