In response, the group has an executive committee made up of Mr. Tompkins and Frank Reynolds; a president, Mr. Tomkins; a physical vice-president, Mike Mahoney; a treasurer, Sara Shorter; and a secretary, Beverly Atkins.
Floating committee members are Bob Scott, Tinker Lyman, Sally Morgan, while volunteer in charge of volunteers is Diana Bird.
The local artist committee, whose goal is to promote and assist local talent as opposed to bringing in outside artist, is comprised of Carl Coon and Bob and Virginia Scott.
Marie Davis and Frank Reynofds are chairing the facility committee while Vincent and Dinah Day are program chairpersons.
Sid Gottlieb and Page Smith will work to compile the community calendar as Dot Mank and Pat Fillebrown organize food and drinks for required events.
Walt and Susan Longyear will chair the membership committee and Tinker Lyman and Sally Morgan will deal with fundraising. Rob Parrish and Bill Young chair the movies committee and David Smith and Mitzi Young are the school iiasion people.
“These all derived from the obvious needs as stated by the futures committee,” Mr. Tompkins said. “These are all jobs — whatever they may be - that need to be addressed.”
