Clarification
A Fairfax attorney has written Arundel Newspapers that his client, Joseph F. Claffy Jr. of Prince William County, has never had any connection with the Kenneth Allison drug conspiracy case.
Lawyer Jerry M. Phillips states that Claffy and his wife, Sue, have been approached by many persons about a story in the March 21 paper regarding the case.
The story cited an FBI affidavit in the public record at U.S. District Court in Alexandria stating that Joseph F. Claffey Jr., 75, of Hilton Head, S.C., as being involved in the alleged conspiracy.
On this point, the story and the document refer only to a person named Joseph F. Claffey Jr., 75, who lives in Hilton Head, S.C.
