The gallery’s new president, sculptress Maggi Morris, is a familiar face among Rappahannock County artists.
She has been an active memeber of the cooperative since 1990.
“It’s going to be hard for me to be a president like Tanya,” Ms. Morris said, adding, “Tanya did a fantastic job as president. She accomplished many things besides placing the gallery in a better financial position. ”
As the new president, Ms. Morris said her main goal is to “increase membership and to come up with new ways to make money for the gallery, to make us more self-supporting and more active in the community.”
