Theatre casts play
Two Castleton residents have been cast in two of the three parts in the upcoming production of the new Olde Towne Theatre.
Dinah Pehrson-Day and Howard Coon will star with Greg Smith of Falls Church in "Strange Snow," a serio-comedy by Stephen Metcalf, according to Sheree Rainbolt-Kren of the theater.
Rehearsals began two weeks ago. The play will be performed over two weekends in mid-June. .
"Strange Snow," said Mrs. RainboltKren, "is a play about coming to terms with a devastating past - in one sentence.”
Pruning workshop slated
Rappahannock forester and arborist |_yt Wood will hold a workshop on "The Art of Pruning," 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday March 30.
The workshop will be held at the Ki Arts Center in Washington's Town Hall.
Those attending will get an introduction to pruning all kinds of trees.
