To Mrs. Alvin Breeden and family down Reva way we offer our sympathy upon the passing of her brother Henry Payne last week.

Down Boston-Castleton we offer our hearty congratulations to Miss Bonnie Jewell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Jewell who made the AllDistrict Band. Bonnie is a drummer in the Rappahannock High School band.

Miss Carolyn Peyton a student at James Madison University in Harrisonburg spent the weekend here with Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Peyton and visited other relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Winfrey Thornhill of Nokesville were Saturday guests of his mother Mrs. Cary Thornhill.

Miss Tammy Butler, a student at Longwood College in Farmville spent the weekend with her parents Mr. and Mrs. S.W. Butler and Angela.

Mrs. Irene Kopjanski of Connecticut has been visiting her son Gary here and also son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. C.G. Thornhill and Brittany in Culpeper.

Mrs. George Butler, Mrs. Buddy Thornhill and Mrs. George Butler Jr. were in Charlottesville on Monday.
