Two eighth graders have been running well, M.E. Bailey and Jessica Arnold, and although they will compete, any points they score won’t be counted, said Mr. Thomas.
The first-year head coach said that the small number of team members makes him focus more on individual accomplishments. “Our goals are going to be mainly individual,” he said.
After the opening meet in Strasburg, the track teams compete against George Mason and Manassas Park in Manassas on April 10, home against Page and Manassas Park on April 17, against George Mason and Central in Woodstock on April 24 and against Page and Clarke in Berryville May 1.
