There are a lot of activities in the community. The United Methodist Church will hold its annual Easter egg hunt at 2 p.m. on Saturday for children of all ages.
Sunrise service at Amiss ville United Methodist begins at 6 a.m., followed by breakfast. Other services at United Methodist include Maundy Thursday service on March 28 at 7:30 p.m. to celebrate the Last Supper. Good Friday services on March 29 at 7:30 p.m. will be on “The Stations of the Cross,” a narrated Tt‘ slide presentation. Celebrating the Resurrection service will be held ""Sunday at 11 a.m. Flowers will be placed on a handmade cross, also lilies will be placed in honor or in memory of loved ones.
Easter sunrise services begin at 5:45 a.m. Sunday on Red Oak Mountain.
