Ginny Pierson has returned home from St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, after spending 15 days with her daughters Phoebe Williamson and Jeannine on the occasion of the birth of she and Dick’s first grandson Justin.
We have some very special birthdays. Mrs. Phoebe Green celebrated her 90th birthday on March 20, ladies from the United Methodist presented her with a cake she won from WKCW, courtesy of Cardinal Bakery. Also, Mr. L.J. Davis’ mother was 98. Mrs. Liza Settle celebrated her 9l8t on March 25; Mrs. Mary Russell celebrates her 94th on March 31st (she still operates Russell’s Store in nearby Orlean). Little Sarah Mills will be 4 also on March 31.
Cathy Smith and Barbara Gore traveled to Alexandria last Friday to celebrate Betty Marcellino’s birthday, along with Mary Ann Bennett. Cathy and Barbara enjoyed seeing so many dear friends and former coworkers.
Cathy and Carrington traveled to West Virginia on Sunday to visit Glenn Watson.
