More added to eagle reward
Another $1,000 was donated to the reward for information leading to the conviction of the person or persons who killed a mated pair of bald eagles near Sperryville last month, according to Ed Clark of the Virginia Wildlife Federation.
Window Wizard in Culpeper put up the latest donation, bringing to $10,000 the total reward.
Although the means by which the birds were killed has not been revealed by authorities, Mr. Clark said this week that "they definitely were not gunshot victims."

Slaughter’s rep to visit'
Ben Dutton, a representative of Congressman D. French Slaughter Jr., will visit Rappahannock County on Wednesday, May 8.
He will be available to talk with constituents who need assistance or have problems of a federal nature.
He will be at the Rappahannock County Courthouse in Washington from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
