Emory C. Russell, of Flint
Hill, will join the staff of Farmers and Merchants National Bank Monday, May 3. He will be an Assistant Cashier in the Flint Hill office of F and M and will assist Mr. John S. Browning, a Vice President of Farmers and Merchants, in the management of the Flint Hill location. He will assume full responsibility for this branch upon Mr. Browning’s retirement in the future.
The fourth annual horse show sponsored by the Amissville Ruritan Club is set for Saturday, May 8 at the carnival grounds at Amissville. The program will include English and Western classes and there will be six championships. Showing begins at 9 a.m. There will be no cross entering of divisions. 4
