residents Randy Shirkey, Ronnie Kendrick, David Moore and Ian Nicholson, all of whom entered guilty pleas last month to conspiracy to distribute five kilograms or more of cocaine.
They each told basically the same story: that Allison would front them ounces of cocaine and they would pay him or his brother, Jerry Allison, or Thelma Allison Knowlton when they had sold it.
Arthur “Junior" Pullen Jr., formerly of Amiss ville, was next to testify. He said that he has not been charged yet, but told the jury he anticipates being charged in state court at some point for related cocaine offenses. He said he would purchase ounces from Allison at the Rappahannock house, and sometimes from Henry Payne.
Payne was next on the stand, followed by Wayne Leonard of Sperryville. In 1982, said Leonard, Allison first talked to him about selling cocaine. Allison told him, testified Leonard, “sell and keep your mouth shut.”
Leonard has entered pre-indictment sealed plea with the court, and has been cooperating with the prosecution, according to Apperson. Allison’s brother, Jerry Allison, has also entered a sealed plea, the prosecutor revealed Monday. Jerry Allison is expected to testify Wednesday or Thursday.
