Two people were injured, including a 3-year-old girl, in a twocar accident on U.S. 211 at the Route 667 intersection at 3:35 p.m. April 24, according to Sgt. D.S. Adams of the State Police.

Brenda Kay Miller, 37, of Sperryville, was operating a 1974 Ford Continental, attempting to cross U.S. 211, when she came into the path of a 1984 Ford pickup, operated by 26-year-old Martin Edward Evans of Greenbelt, Md.

Miller was charged by Trooper S.M. Knick with failure to yield the right-of-way.

Evans and a girl passenger in his car were injured.
