Donations of new, re-newed and/or saleable items are needed. Cash contributions are always accepted. However, food and clothing is not. Gift certificates are appreciated.
Do you have a service you may offer for auction? Donations are needed in all forms.
If you have a donation you wish to deliver, a representative of the Rappahannock Lions Club will be available at WVFD hall to service items from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, May 10 and from 9 a.m. until sold out on Saturday, May 11.
Further, if you have any old eyeglasses and/or hearing aids that are no longer serviceable to you, we urge you to turn them in to the club and they will be recycled and put to good use where badly neded.
We appreciate your past support, and ask for and urge you to consider supporting us in this fundraising project in order that we may continue our community assistance programs in Rappahannock County.

Gov. Wilder has signed a Certificate of Recognition and designated May 5 as Extension Homemakers Day and May 5-11 as Extension Homemakers Week in Virginia.
Founded in 1923, the Virginia Extension Homemakers Councile (VEHC) has evolved into one of the most respected educational organizations in the state. Some 10,000 members work with the Virginia Cooperative Extension Service to learn the latest techniques and newest information on a variety of subjects to meet the ever increasing changes in the world and to improve and strengthen the quality of family life. Local clubs base their education programs on the needs of their communities.
The only membership requirement for VEHC is interest in helping to enrich one’s own life and to share this knowledge with others. Membership, programs, and activities are open to all regardless of race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, handicap, or political affiliation.
