Miller reinstated
as county's rep
in Va. Senate

The Virginia Senate, in a contentious four-hour debate Tuesday, returned Sen. Kevin Miller of Harrisonburg to Rappahannock County after earlier plans had moved Rappahannock to a district represented by Thomas Michie of Charlottesville.
Sen. Miller will represent all of Rappahannock County as well as central and southern Fauquier and Warrenton. Sen. Miller’s district extends south and west to Harrisonburg.
Sen. William Tru ban’s district (R-Woodstock) will emcompass northern Fauquier an$ include all of Warren and Clarke counties. Sen. Truban’s new district remains unchanged from its present lines, except for an exchange of precincts in Fauquier County with Sen. Miller, he said.
