Foothills Travel seminar

The Foothills Travel Association of Virginia {FTA) will hold a seminar, “Communicating Through Public Relations," aimed at helping participants position and market their products and services, in Washington, Va., May 22.

The seminar will be conducted by communications consultant Michelle Hartz, senior vice president of BursonMarsteller, a leading international public relations company. It is scheduled for two hours, starting at 4 p.m., in the Theatre at Washington, Va.

The seminar will focus on product/service “positioning," media relations, special events, partnership building and direct mail. Participants will receive a detailed “how-to" kit to enable them to target and personalize their efforts.
