Huntly art show
held last week
Wakefield School in Huntly held its annual Art Show last week. The show had over 200 entries from 15 area schools. Awards were given to students in grades 7 through 12 and the younger students were presented with certificates.
The show was judged by a Rappahannock county artist, chairman of the Wakefield art department, Gary Genther of Sperryville.
He was very pleased with the show and the results of the judging. Mr. Genther cited Rappahannock High School artists for their work presented this year; RCHS students won six top awards in the judging. Six area schools, including RCES and RCHS, visited Wakefield to view the exhibit.
