Miss Deborah Lynn Barron, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard R. Barron, Viewtown, received the B.A. degree in early childhood education from Lynchburg College in Commencement ceremonies held on the College Campus May 8. She is a graduate of Rappahannock County High School.

April 30, the official end of
the Cancer Crusade’s annual fund drive, has passed with the Rappahannock unit $800 short of its fair share goal. To date, $2,500 has been received. The county is expected to contribute $3,300. Those who want to participate but haven’t been contacted by door-to-door volunteers may send tax deductible contributions to the chairman of this year’s local Crusade, Mrs. Pat Giles, at Box 96, Washington, Va. 22747.
The Rappahannock Athletic Association announces the first game for the Skyline Junior Babe Ruth League on May 16th at Madison High School. Skylin Junior Babe Ruth League consists of six 13-15-year-old teams three from Madison, two from Greene, and one from Rappahannock.
