An inmate jumped the 15-foot metal fence around the basketball court at the Rappahannock Jail at 3:50 p.m. Sunday, May 12 and was still at large by <| presstime Wednesday.
James Preston “Dickie” j Walters, 28, of the Flint Hill area, had just been sentenced last week to nine years in the state prison for two Rappahan- «fj nock burglaries when he escaped, last seen running across the field at Avon Hall.
