Superintendent David Gangel told the School Board at Tuesday night’s meeting that the county school system is a finalist among school systems seeking to enter into a partnership with the XEROX Corporation to promote quality in education.
Three school systems in Virginia are now in the XEROX partnership and three more will be selected by June 1. There is a $1 million grant to be split among participating school systems, Dr. Gangel said.
