Rappahannock Republicans
will meet Wednesday, May 19, at 8 p.m. in the Flint Hill fire hall to elect officers, elect delegates to the District State Senate Nominating Convention and to act on any business which should arise.
Prize winning single specimens and artistic arrangements will vie for attention at the flower show scheduled for Saturday, May 22 at the Episcopal parish hall in Washington, Va. The show is sponsored by the Rappahannock County Garden Club and hours are from 2 until 8 p.m. A silver offering is acceptable. The theme of the show is “As You Like It” and exhibits will include educational, horticultural and artistic entries.

The 1976 Polo Season in
Rappahannock opens Sunday, May 16 at Fannon’s Field, Laurel Mills. Game time is 2 p.m. and the public is invited. There is no admission charge. For the opening game Sunday the Rappahannock Polo Club will host the Farmington Polo Club and the Reston Polo Club.
