“Vaudevillian is a term used to describe the less classical aspects of the clown which tend toward comic using words and storytelling,” she said of Mr. Goldstein’s act — a newer form of clown which is growing in popularity.
“He is just hilarious,” she said.
The two men have taken their clown and mime act throughout the United States bringing laughter and fun to the whole family.
“The Clown, The Mime and Vaudeville,” opens at 7 p.m. Sunday in the Washington Town Hall.
“This is primarily a regional event when the theater invites many from other areas,” Ms. Portman said, adding for this event guest will arrive from eight states besides Virginia.
