Call for gallery show entries

The Middle Street Gallery is calling for entries for its show, "The Wood Show," featuring fine furniture, sculpture and art made primarily from wood. Deadline for entries is July 1.

The purpose of the show is to provide furniture designers, cabinetmakers and sculptors a chance to show their work in a professional gallery setting.

A review of slides and photographs will be conducted by Middle Street Gallery members and their choices judged by Wallace Gusler, director of conservation for the Williamsburg Foundation and author of "Furniture of Williamsburg, 1710-1790."

Call the gallery at 675-3440 for a prospectus.
