The following are the hours of operation for the Rappahannock County Sanitary Landfill, located on Route 639 in Amissville:
Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 7:30AM-3:30PM Friday & Saturday 7:30AM*7:30PM
Closed WEDNESDAY & SUNDAY The waste transfer sites located at Scrabble (Rt. 626), and Huntly (Rt. 522) are open all day, every day, but you may not deposit brush, tree trimmings, appliances, tires scrap metal, or construction debris in the containers.
