Twins Stephen and Michelle Carroll of Conover, N.C. are spending this week with their grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Donald Carroll and Helen Pszenny of Salem, Mass.
Anna Fincham attended the family reunion of the late Alfred and Catherine Gearing Jenkins at the Rappahannock Park on Sunday. The reunion was well attended by family and friends.
The Sperryville United Methodist Church will hold bible school from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Aug. 17-21. All are invited to attend.
The ladies of the Fellowship Assembly of God Church are putting together a cookbook to raise money for the building of their new church. Anyone in the community who would like to submit recipes should call Georgia Campbell at 987-9026. They hope to have the book for sale in November, just in time for Christmas gifts.
Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Nethers of Stephens City were Sunday dinner guests in the Ranny Aylor home. They also visited with the F.D. Coffey family.
