Mr. and Mrs. George Wharton, Sarah and Steve were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Frazier at Jeffersonton Friday evening especially to be with Petty Officer 1st Class Don Frazier, Mrs. Frazier and children of Sumerville, S.C. who were visiting his parents the Fraziers.
Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Burke of Rochelle were Tuesday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Peregory and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Shelvy Frazier returned home Friday after spending the week in Richlands, Ky.
Freddie Butler returned home on Wednesday after several weeks visit with his son-in-law and daughter Capt. and Mrs. Danny *Sims and their four children in Hawaii.
Hazel Hawkins and her granddaughter Amanda Sims returned home Monday after a weeks visit with her daughter Linda Hawkins in Virginia Beach and while there they visited Jamestown, Williamsburg and other places of interest.

Revival at
Mt. Lebanon
“Revival” means to bring back life, or to impart new health and vigor to something or someone.
Many churches schedule annual revivals to restore the spiritual life and vigor of their congregations, or to enliven the regular weekly worship program.
Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church will present such a revival Aug. 16-21. Services begin at 7 p.m., Sunday evening, Aug. 16 and at 7:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Regular members say it will be “just like old home week,” with Rev. Virgil Wilson returning to preach his sixth revival at Mt. Lebanon, and Keith Wagner returning to sing and lead congregational singing for the fourth time at a Mt. Lebanon revival. The Mt. Lebanon choir and other groups will provide special music each evening.
Virgil Wilson is no stranger to this area. His wife, Ruth, is a native of Culpeper County, and their son and daughter-in-law live in Rhoadesville, in Orange County. Rev. Wilson, now in his 40th year of ministry, lives in Fayetteville, N.C. and pastors the Antioch Baptist Church in nearby Falcon, N.C.
Since Mt. Lebanon is currently without a pastor, Deacon Chairman Bob Heffem and the entire congregation invite all friends and neighbors to share this spiritual uplift each evening next week.
Mt. Lebanon is located on U.S. 522 at Scrabble, two miles south of Woodville.
