Prices announced
for State Fair
The State Fair of Virginia, which runs Sept. 24-Oct. 4 on Strawberry Hill in Richmond, has announced that this year, fairgoers can choose their own ticket prices, ranging from $7 for a walk around ticket during the week to a $14 superticket on the weekends.
The superticket includes all midway rides, livestock exhibits and shows, horse shows, all Virginia Green Shows, Heritage Village, a 100 ton sand sculpture, the Corona Light/K95 Racing Pigs, the “CocaCola on Ice” show, the lumberjack show and American Airlines’ Granpa Cratchet, as well as all of the exhibit buildings and Horticulture Pavilion. The superticket also includes Amphitheatre concerts on Fridays and Saturdays as well as Senior Day Wednesday.
The advance discount superticket is $10 if purchased either at Crown Petroleum Stations before Sept. 23, or by mail through the State Fair ticket office by Sept. 14. The $10 advance superticket is good any day of the Fair.
