A funeral service was held Monday, Aug. 10 at Found and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. R. Mark Jarvis and the Rev. Chester Caudill officiating. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to a trust fund for her daughter Crystal Wharton, 880 Alexander Ave., Deltona, Fla. 32738.
Mary Petty
Mary Ethel Petty, 96, of Culpeper, formerly of Viewtown, died Tuesday, Aug. 11 at Culpeper Health Care Center.
A native of Culpeper, Mrs. Petty was the daughter of the late Douglas and Mary Dodson and the widow of Issaiah Petty. She was a member of Amissville Baptist Church.
There are not immediate survivors.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. today, Thursday, Aug. 13 at the Amissville Baptist Church cemetery with the Rev. Tom Everett officiating.
Friends may meet at the cemetery at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday.
