Included in the bonds the state could issue if this passes are $6.9 million to provide handicapped access to various state institutions and $4.5 million for utility and air-conditioning improvements.

Nearly $25 million would be for the College of William and Mary including $6.1 million for a new science building and $8.5 million for a toxicology and pathology research center at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science.

The University of Virginia would get $35.9 million including $8 million for an addition to the chemistry building and $14.6 million for an addition to Jordan Hall.

Virginia Tech would get $43 million including $8.4 million for an addition to the veterinary college and $17.4 million for a new building for engineering and architecture.

VMI would get $10.2 million including $4.4 million to improve the library.

$15.9 million would go to Virginia State and $15.7 million to Norfolk State.
