Lillian Reeve

Lillian Darlene Reeve, 46, of Manassas, died Tuesday, Aug. 4 at Loudoun Hospital in Leesburg.

Ms. Reeve was born June 22, 1946 in Clovis, New Mexico, the daughter of Miriam Reeve of Culpeper and the late Roy L. Reeve.

Survivors in addition to her mother include three sons, Mark Butler of Norfolk, Jason Butler of Camp Beale, Calif, and Jonathon Butler of Boston; a daughter, Patricia Butler of Boston; two sisters, Patricia Brown of Hanover, Pa. and Dorothy Irvine of Madison and a brother, Roy B. Reeve of State College, Pa.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 8 at Clore Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. H.O. Browning officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery.

Harry Morrison

Harry Byrd Morrison, 67, of Winchester, died Thursday, Aug. 6 at his residence.

Mr. Morrison was born April 14, 1925 in Gore, Va., son of the late J. Floyd and Georgia Triplett Morrison. He was retired after 30 years with the Federal Emergency Management Agency/United States Government, and was a member of First Baptist Church where he was in the Men’s Bible Class. He was also a member of Isaac Walton League, the Winchester Gun Club, and served in WWII with the United States Army, Company E, 47th Infantry Regiment, 9th Division, and was a recipient of the Purple Heart, Bronze Star and Good Conduct Metal.

He is survived by his wife, the former Elma Thornhill; two step daughters, Jean C. Anderson of Sterling and Vickie A. Miller of Roanoke; one brother, James F. Morrison of Gore; five step grandsons and two step granddaughters and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held Saturday, Aug. 8 at Omps Funeral Home in Winchester with Rev. Warren Boling and Dr. R. Drexel Rayford officiating. Interment was in Mount Hebron Cemetery.
