Rappahannock Newt Staff Photo/Francei Bithopp Stephanie Atkins, 15, of Slate Mills has been given an award for ‘Outstanding Work Performance* by the Summer Youth Employment Training Program. Miss Atkins was chosen for the progani in June and subsequently worked for the Rappahannock County Library through June and July. Miss Atkins, who was commended on her determination, drive and responsibility, will also represent the training program at the Summer Youth Institute, Aug. 10-14, in Staunton, where she will be involved in job training workshops.
