There is a well mannered, blonde, curly headed, handsome, six year old here in the county that I watched go through some agony a few days ago. I feel compelled to tell you about this even though my talent may not do it justice.

This boy was allowed to go and play at another youngsters house. The two mothers involved took regular turns and exchanged duties in order to provide the children new screaming grounds. The young man (lets call him “Ed”) had had a marvelous day. The other youngster had a little brother (lets call him “Tiny”) had followed the big boys around all day. Tiny had a problem in that his nose was in full flow as some little noses are on cold days. Tiny was, of course, unaware that this condition was unusual. From time to time he would, with one hand or the other, wrist or sleeve, rub the matter East, West, North and South.

Our young hero, Ed, was about to leave with his mother when some one said “Tiny wants a kiss goodbye”! Eddy turned instinctively and stepped toward Tiny’s outstretched arms. He looked and froze! We froze with him, watching. I saw him catch
