The Rappahannock County Extension Homemakers Clubs and 4-H Clubs are conducting a fundraising project this spring to benefit two projects in the county, the E.H. scholarship and the 4-H delegates going on the Japanese exchange program.
“So far we’ve sold approximately $900 worth of tickets,” said Betty Smith, a member of the fundraising committee and one of the E.H. memebers who helped make the quilt. “$250 will be used for the E.H. scholarship given at the RCHS graduation to a graduating senior and the balance will be divided among the three 4-H delegates participaing in the Japanese exchange program during the summer of ’93,” added Marie Davis, E.H. Scholarship Chairman.
