A new member, reported on by the Registrar, Mrs. Dale Metzinger, was voted into the chapter.
A project of the chapter, collect" ing Campbell soup labels, was reported on by Mrs. John Cheatwood. She has sent 245 of them to Crossnore, a DAR supported school, which will be worth money to the school.
The next meeting on May 11 will be the 70th birthday celebration of the chapter. Mrs. Edgar F. Puryear. Jr. reported on plans for the luncheon to be at Fauquier Springs Country Club in Warrenton. The charge is $15 and reservations must be made with Mrs. Zillah Gutowski, the treasurer, by May 1.
