1 cup milk
In small bowl, blend cheeses and set aside. Mix together rice and bacon; place in 13 x 9 x 2 inch greased casserole dish. Spread mushrooms over rice. Arrange asparagus spears on top of mushrooms. Sprinkle on salt and pepper. Top with cheese mixture and dot with remaining butter and pour cup of milk over top.
Preparation 20 minutes. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Yields 6-8 servings.
