Uur area joins in congratulating Thomas Heffern who has made his first solo flight. Heffern, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Heffern of Reva route is a Marine, 2nd lituetant and is doing training in Milton, Fla. with the Helicopter Training Squadron and will include 65 training hours. He has been in the Marines since May 1991 and is a graduate of Culpeper High School and VMI in Lexington.
Michael Wayne Frazier was a Thursday overnight guest of his aunt, Mrs. Alivn Atkins in Sperryville.
This week in being commemorated as National Library Week and the young people of our area as well as others who visit the Culpeper Library will receive buttons and bookmarkers.
