course costs $50. Ruth Partlow, LPN, will discuss prenatal care, Lamaze breathing techniques, medications and drugs, labor and delivery, postpartum care and newborn care.
Participants in the series will view a film on childbirth and take a tour of the obstetric unit at CMH, including the birthing room and the labor and delivery suite.
A mini-refresher couse in breathing techniques and infant care will be held from 6-9 p.m. on July 14 in the board room.
