Club Area 9 Spring meeting will be held at 9:30 a.m. May 20, hosted by Culpeper County. The program is “Our Family, Our Future.” Reminder, registration is due to Doreen Wootton, county EHC treasurer, by April 29, call 675-3619.

, EHC Chariman, Margaret Dodson, offers tips to get rid of all your junk mail. She says try to return the postage-free envelope with a “no more mail” message. Better yet, get some postcards and write the companies directly. Just how important is it for us to recycle those old newspaper? Margaret reminds us it takes 500,000 trees to give us our Sunday papers!

Learn more about the country of Chile at the 4-H Club meeting at 7, p.m. tomorrow night, April 22 at Bethel Baptist on Route 642. Maggie Cotez, and exchange student, is guest speaker.

Amissville Ruritan Club will clean up U.S. 211 in Amissville beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday, also, the Zone 5 Joint Ruritan meeting will be held on April 27. Call Roger at 937-5739.

The W.C. Smiths and W.C. Stuarts spent the weekend in Reedville.
