Clerk’s Office is in the process of being refurbished. The interior is receiving a coat of paint this week and a new photostat machine has been rydered.
The Amissville Civic Club will sponsor a dance Friday night, April 26 beginning at 8:30 p.m. Music will be furnished by Collis Fincham and Billy Jenkins and the Virginia Mountain Clan. Admission is $1.25 per person.
The Miss Rappahannock contest on Friday at the Sperryville Elementary School promises to be a real duzzie. About 25 girls have been entered in this class and 50 in the other classes. Admission will be $.50 for adults and $.35 for children.
