very generous donations for this fundraiser.” The members of the E.H. Quilting Class taught by Katherine Riley have donated a lovely handmade appliqued quilt for the first prize.

Local artist, Geneva Welch, has donated a print worth $150 for the second prize, and Donna Brune of Persimmon Springs in Flint Hill is giving a gift certificate for a floral arrangement for the third prize.

Raffle tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. Tickets can be purchased from E.H. member, Mark Jenkins, Marsha Freeman, Courtney Welch, or at the Extension Office. Your support will be appreciated for these two worthwhile projects.

The quilt and print are on display in the window of the Washington Arts Building on Gay Street.

Drawing for the prizes will be at 1 p.m. on April 24 the same day as the Fodderstack 10KM Classic.
