It's a girl!
Amy Wharton and Richard Jenkins of Sperryville are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Amanda Dawn Jenkins, bom at 4:05 p.m. on Friday, April 16 at Culpeper Memorial Hosptial. Amanda weighed eight pounds and four ounces and was 21 and one-half inches long.
Maternal grandparents are Dorothy Wharton of Criglersville and John Wharton of Culpeper.
Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Jenkins of Sperryville.
Maternal great-grandparents are Mrs. Claudia Jenkins of Woodville, Mrs. Frances Roberts of Culpeper and Mr. Jesse Jenkins of Fairfax.
