As of April 15, 120 runners had preregistered for the 16th running of the Fodderstack 10K, scheduled to run at 10 a.m. this Saturday. '
Registration at the starting point, the warehouse near Settle’s Grocery in Flint Hill, will be permitted until 9:45 the morning of the race. The cost is $17.
Transportation by bus will be available from Washington to Flint Hill. The bus will leave from in front of the courthouse promptly at 9 a.m.
Several of last year’s winners have pre-registered for the race, including Eva Smith Memorial winner Jason Waters, and Mark Jenkins, both in the 13-18 age group. They are both Rappahannock County residents.
Many Rappahannock families will be participating again: Dennis, Cheryl, Megan and Michael Fairbrother; Philip, Merrill, Lily and Alexander Strange; and Brian, Adam and Austin Bouffard.
